Email digests
A daily or weekly summary of your busiest events, delivery failures, and everything quiet hours or rollups held back.
Alerts tell you when something is wrong right now. A digest tells you what happened while you weren't looking: your busiest events, what failed, and what was deliberately held back.
Turn it on
Go to Settings → Notifications and pick Daily or Weekly. That's the whole setup — it saves as you choose.
Digests go to the organization's owners and admins. Members don't receive them: a digest is about delivery health, which is the concern of the people who can act on it.
When it arrives
Around 08:00 in your organization's time zone, set in Settings → Time Zone. A daily digest covers the previous local day; a weekly digest arrives on Monday and covers the previous Monday-to-Monday week.
Because the schedule is expressed as "the local hour has passed and this period hasn't been covered yet" rather than a fixed instant, a digest that couldn't be sent on time is still sent later the same day rather than being skipped. The same phrasing means a digest is never sent twice for the same period.
If nothing happened during the period, no email is sent. A daily digest that says "0 events" is noise.
What's in it

"Held back" only counts deliberate holds. A delivery that was skipped because its destination was inactive or misconfigured is a problem to fix, not a quiet-hours hold, and it shows under failures instead.
Retention and weekly digests
Events are deleted once they pass your plan's retention window. On a plan with 7-day retention, the oldest part of a weekly digest's window can already have been pruned, so the counts may be lower than what actually happened. Daily digests are always well inside every plan's window. The settings page flags this when you choose Weekly.
Turning them off
Set the frequency back to Off in the same place. Digests are operational email about your own organization's activity, so they follow your setting here rather than a separate subscription list — every digest also links straight back to this setting.
